I think this picture says it ALL. These dolls don't look
like dolls at all. They look like real little people.
Very Happy little people!!

Raggedy Pair
These dolls are early Georgene's, and a very
sweet pair.
Georgene Raggedy
Pair
The BEST PAIR OF ALL
This Raggedy Ann exactly matches my own Ann. The dress is the exact
same,
though my Raggedy's dress is packed away. It is torn and tattered,
but I still have
it. I have never seen the matching Andy before, so this was a real
treat. I received
my Raggedy Ann the Christmas of 1943. The leg stripes are narrow
and she is 19
inches tall. They have the second Georgene face.

Ann and Andy

This pair of 12 inch of Knickerbockers have been making
wonderful music together for a long time and still do.
Ann plays "Rock a By Baby" and Andy plays "Pop Goes the Weasel."
Andy has a beautiful pink top and Ann has on her original dress.
Don't they look happy?

This older pair of handmade Raggedys have
been together for a long

The Rose
Some say love it is a river
That drowns the tender reed.
Some say love it is a razor
That leaves your soul to bleed.
Some say love it is a hunger
An endless, aching need
I say love it is a flower,
And you it's only seed.
It's the heart afraid of breaking
That never learns to dance
It's the dream afraid of waking
That never takes the chance
It's the one who won't be taken,
Who cannot seem to give
And the soul afraid of dying
That never learns to live.
And the night has been too lonely
And the road has been too long.
And you think that love is only
For the lucky and the strong.
Just remember in the winter
Far beneath the bitter snow
Lies the seed that with the sun's love,
In the spring, becomes a rose
